Firdaus & Rosnani: Wedding

When the East meets the West. It all started when she studied in the same university as he does and this is how Firdaus & Rosnani met each other during the younger years. Their love bonded all the way until today in one the most highlighted wedding events that we have taken so far. The bride is a great karaoke singer and we were so amazed by her high pitch and well controlled voice that she sang in this wedding and the groom is a very nice & supportive person and he gets along with everyone without hesitation. Their wedding ceremony was a real blast, extremely colorful and laughter filled the entire house with their own representatives commenting at the start of the Akad Nikah till the end of the Sanding event. So to this lovely couple, we thank you so much for supporting thus hiring us in your big event and have a Happy Valentine’s Day.

Khairi & Lazzmywati ~ Pre-Wedding

Khairi & Lazzmywati: Pre-Wedding

“When you are in Love you can’t fall asleep because reality is better than your dreams. The best and the most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even be touched, they must be felt with the heart.” These are amongst 2 of the popular love quotes that are still used till now in the world and we would like to dedicate these quotes to our newest clients, Khairi & Bebeh. The Charming Prince is from Miri, Sarawak while his Lovely Angel is a local Labuan folk. Even better, both of them works at the same company so seeing each other, day to night isn’t a problem for them.

Today, we brought them to 3 locations for their Pre-Wedding. Locations are well known and best of all, it stands out far the most than many other locations here in this little island. Started with the botanical garden, I can’t express how truly beautiful today’s weather was and the sky was so blue with thickened clouds assisting it. Yes we did have a rough 2 weeks of stormy weather back then but that isn’t this part of the story. Photo shooting this location took us quite a while due to the large land mass and we had difficulties locating our areas of interest at first. Following on, we went over the infamous Nasi Lemak stall “Sabariah” for a 45 minutes lunch break and continuing our journey to the historical Chimney. Spent a few moments there knowing we already know what was in our shot list.

Lastly at 4pm, the local sea side was used for their prewed finale. The last time we shot at this beach, it was slightly different from today. Nonetheless, we covered a few scenes from this and a beautiful sun sets across the sea and after several shots till it subside, our photo shoot ended with lots of fun, laughter and not forgetting… sand flies. So once again to Khairi & Bebeh, we enjoyed taking your shots, we do hope you love ‘em and thank you so much and looking forward taking your big event.

Nur Hasya Dhaniyah: Babies

Right after today’s engagement ceremony, baby Sha Sha brings us this evening’s highlights with the Cukur Jambul ceremony. A brief introduction towards this ceremony is when a new born baby (male or female) reaches 40 days, the parents of the new born will prepare several ceremonial items plus, decorating the new born’s baby coat. A number of elderly people (preferably from the Islam Mosque) will come and gather for prayers. After the prayers, the same group of people will then use the provided scissors and cut off little strands of the baby’s hair (usually at the center or at the top of head). The hairs strands will then be thrown into a yellow coconut preserving the coconut juice. After all the elderly has participated in this, it is known that this ceremony is adjourned. They are then given door gifts and a meal.

Parents of this baby, Sham & Emy, thank you so much for supporting us again. We hope you liked your photos and congratulations to the both of you for having such a cute & chubby baby.

Johairy & Norhafizan: Engagement

We knew him when he was just a teenager. For 6 years we have argued over the smallest matter and laughed till our jaws got the cramps. His brother got married back 4 years ago and it was time for him to settle down and raise children. Without a sign, our good friend Johairy got engaged to the lovely fiancee of his, Norhafizan. First off, this couple really wanted us to take their engagement ceremony and has post phoned their dates due to our tight schedules since the beginning of this year. So we thank you for that thus being so supportive over us.

This is a huge engagement ceremony, so huge that it seems like they are already getting married. Many from his side and her side came to witness this ceremony even the dowries were so big and filled with "WOW"s here and there. Some were even drooling and can’t keep their eyes of it. Ended up about 2 hours later, we were unable to fulfill their outdoor photo shoot due to misty rains pouring at that time till late in the evening. Eagerly, we arranged the following day and settled up for a 2.5 hours photo session with the charming & lovely couple. So to Joe & Ejan, we enjoyed taking your photos and hope to be your official wedding photographer on your wedding day.

We’ve added our first slide show video montage featuring Nickelback “Never Gonna Be Alone” at the bottom. If only we were videographers, it could have been better.

Rasidi & Hasnah: Wedding

Kicking off our 2010 New Year comes a nifty Malay Wedding featuring the newly weds Rasidi and Hasnah that took place at Kuala Penyu, Sabah. This is our first outstation wedding photo shoot in a little town where majority off all shops close at 5pm. Upon our arrival somewhere around 3.30pm, we scouted the couple’s houses, getting to know their families better for effortless photo shooting. We then checked in 1 of Beaufort’s hotel counting down the new year in our room with a bottle of Asti Martin Champagne. Wedding went smoothly but sadly, we couldn’t do this newly weds outdoor session cause the bride was having a cold on her big day. The last photo you will see are taken separately where we felt pity we were not able to take them towards a long ferry terminal bridge so some photo editing skills were required to make them happy. May not be perfect but we will let our viewers decide. Thank you Rasidi & Hasnah for taking us as your wedding photographers and congratulations on your marriage.

Extra pics have been added here as per requested by yet another happy client of ours.
