- July 15, 2010: Massive site renovation for almost 1.5 months is now 90% completed. We have switched from ProPhoto2 to a new & trendy EcoPhoto Theme. This theme will display all featured image in our Home Page that spans across your monitor only if your monitor’s width isn’t wider than 1700px or taller than 1138px. Featured image slider will only display our Wedding & Portrait works starting on year 2010. The old stuff can still be viewed from the archived section. We hope you like this new and all rounder portfolio/blog theme.
Presentation… The Absolute Way
We have a new and heavy baby in our Vivalova’s office and it’s a Color Laser Shot Printer. Our old Canon Pixma iP3300 went bad during many of our DVD cover & label prints. The print head were worned out causing several horizontal lines appearing at each print. Soon after that, the lines were bigger and we brought our sample to Canon’s authorized centre to enquire. Cause of problem is indeed the print head but replacing that will include other parts too like the sponge & purge unit. Cost of repair is around RM300++ which allows us to actually buy a new printer of the same kind.
Life was a little harder after that. We had to go over to a friend’s cyber club just to get our covers & labels printed. Cost of printing is another story. Once our budget was in, we had a choice but yet to find out whether we will regret on buying this Canon LBP5050 Printer. The HP CP1515n costs RM1199.00 while this Canon LBP5050 costs us RM890 including shipping. It was really hard to decide due to the price differences and the main factor was the print quality produced by the HP printer that supersedes Canon printer. So we decided to get (more like to try) this Canon printer and after all, the prints were definitely better than our old iP3300.
Basically, this article shows you readers and visitors are how important the final product’s presentation is. We are wedding & corporate event photographers and we always believe in good photos come with good presentation. It has been our every dream to own a Color Laser Printer regardless of the brand and we are glad that we invested on it. Some of our clients may not know whether the prints are from inkjets or laserjets quality but one thing we know that it is self-satisfaction as a start.
Lastly, we would like to thank our families, relatives, friends, engagement & wedding clients and corporate clients for supporting us throughout the years. Without you and your company, we wouldn’t have bought this printer. You have made us 1 step ahead in our business. Once again, thank you.
Introducing VieDrive™ Photo Media
Presenting Vivalova Memory Lane’s newest finishing product, the VieDrive™ Photo Media. Ok first things first, this is a 4GB Removable Disk from Pendrive that can be bought from your local IT shops or bookstores. Strip off the original cover replacing it with our very own custom design and get it printed according to the exact size to fit the packing. We renamed it not only it’s unique but to make sound unique as well. We believe many has done this before but one things for sure is that we did not see this kind of media being published in the net nor seen it physically.
This VieDrive™ Photo Media consists of the photos that were taken during the event or ceremony and it is to be given to our clients as an end product. Also, instead of giving out conventional CDs or DVDs, based on our survey some of our clients find it difficult to locate a DVD-Rom Drive and some even uses Netbooks that does not include such optical drive. Solution is here now and it’s easy to carry & it’s reusable.

Custom cover includes both front & rear and each VieDrive™ Photo Media comes with a unique design for every client. Price for a 4GB VieDrive™ is RM50.00 and 8GB VieDrive™ is RM100.00.
